hi, I’m asia. I’m a photographer and filmmaker working across digital media to explore the narratives of the everyday. my practice is an ongoing attempt to map the spaces between us - the quiet, the overlooked, and the unspoken.

I am interested in the textures of memory and the distance between public performance and private reality. moving between design, documentary, and digital collage, I look for stories hidden in the "blur" and the ways we try to communicate when the words aren't quite there yet. my work is less about finding answers and more about documenting the search for a sense of place within the expansive fabric of life and self.

my recent work, including the archival pigment series WHITE NOISE, explores the architecture of memory and digital decay. by manipulating high-contrast imagery to the point of structural failure, I sought to visualize the 'ghosts' inherent in the digital medium. the debut piece from this series, Frank Sang the Blues, was selected for the 2026 Juried Exhibition 'Opposing Angles' at Woodward Contemporary in partnership with the Oceanside Museum of Art.
