hi there, I’m asia. my practices include photography, film, mixed media, and design. i’m currently working alongside these visual languages to explore the elements of visual design through experimentation and through the investigation of my personal narrative.

i’m interested in culture, emotions, memory, politics, and identity. moving between design, documentary, and collage, I look for stories that encourage curiosity and questioning. my work is less about finding answers and more about investigation and exploration.

my recent work, including the archival pigment series WHITE NOISE, explores the fragments of memory and digital decay. by manipulating vintage photographs to the point of structural failure, I sought to explore the concept and relationship between memory and the nuclear family. the debut piece from this series, Frank Sang the Blues, was selected for the 2026 Juried Exhibition 'Opposing Angles' at Woodward Contemporary in partnership with the Oceanside Museum of Art.
